Our Process

Our jewellery is professionally assessed and has been given a clean bill of health by our very experienced goldsmith. You can count on this piece being in excellent condition unless we say otherwise.

Our Vintage & Antique Items:

Here at FEWL we select our all our pre-owned pieces personally, rejecting more than 90% of all we are offered. Most of our items are over 30 years old, many are ancient. Over time the jewellery may have had several owners and every piece would no doubt have a story to tell, thus contributing to the mystique and fun. The items have all been on a long journey, very few arrive at FEWL with an original purchase receipt.

In common with other competent jewellery retailers, FEWL carries out research and analysis on every piece.  Using Industry standard tried and tested methodology- electronic testers, hallmarks etc. Our diamonds are earth mined. However, our research resource is limited. For example, we do not research the origin of the stones nor for other factors such as heat enhancement. We provide written confirmation of our analysis with your purchase.

We are not professional photographers. Our shots are taken using a mobile phone. We provide some close ups to show both perfections and any imperfections. We do not use filters; we do not alter colours or appearance in any way. You are viewing true images

At FEWL we made a conscious decision to avoid any form of fancy packaging. We use small, plain and robust cardboard boxes. In the interests of security, we do not wish to draw attention to your packages. Our strategy is more environmentally sound and makes economic sense for both FEWL and our customers.

Royal Mail

Since 2011 our go to courier has been Royal Mail. We use their International Tracked & Signed service, subject to availability in your Country of residence. In the UK we use Special Delivery for next business day delivery by 1pm. Many of our customers are wearing their new purchase within 24 hours of making payment. Please note that this is the dream scenario and not any form of guarantee.
